Ah Gong's birthday

(I completely forgot about penning this!)

A few weeks ago, we celebrated The Father-in-law's birthday. It was a simple affair at one of those coffeeshop's tze char stall. The in-laws are folks with simple taste who do not care much for ambiance nor class. What matters most is to have a nice dinner with the complete family. Having the two grandchildren by his side and knowing that there will be another two more in the following year to enough to make him beam the whole evening.

When the time came for cake-cutting, he chuckled happily as Anya leaned forward to give him a birthday kiss. Her gorgor (cousin) who decided to ham up on being macho, stood at a safe distance and watch.
