On Hari Raya evening, we celebrated the MIL's birthday. Dinner was at Seafood Paradise (it was bleah! The only thumbs-up dish was the fried mee sua) before the entire clan embarked onto our landmark Singapore Flyer.
This is the first for all of us. The men marveled at the engineer of the Flyer, the women exchanged our other Ferris wheels experiences. Collectively, we all ooh-ed and aah-ed at the transformed evening skyline while the Nephew and Anya went round and round the capsule countless times. Thankfully, there were only another two Indonesian-Chinese (who were pretty cool by the occasionally toe-stepping by the two children) other than us.
