The afternoon was spent having a simple home-cooked late lunch, playing Monopoly DEAL, watching VeggieTales, and doing random things like looking through old albums and making lame attempts at pig-tailing Anya's hair.
Our plan for a nice dinner at one of those rustic cafes / eateries surrounded by quiet greenery / nature (think Riders Cafe or Spruce) was thwarted by the sudden downpour in the late afternoon. I believed I heard my lazy bones screaming "Home delivery!", and so we had pizza and ice-cream in front of the plasma while Anya and Muff did their best of distract us with all their little antics.
It was, in my opinion, a perfect Saturday for a long while. :)
